Real Vehicle Breakdowns for FS25 - is a beta version mod designed to add realistic vehicle maintenance and breakdown mechanics to the game, enhancing the simulation experience by introducing component wear and tear based on vehicle usage, age, and operating hours. This mod adds depth to gameplay by requiring players to manage vehicle repairs and maintenance strategically, making daily planning and vehicle care more critical.
Realistic Breakdown System:
Vehicle components fail based on wear, age, and operating hours. Examples of failures include:
- Thermostat Errors: Overheating (high temperature, vehicle damage, increased fuel consumption) or overcooling (fluctuating temperature, increased fuel consumption).
- Lighting Issues: Front and rear lights may malfunction (turn signals and hazard lights remain functional).
- Glow Plug Failure: Increases fuel consumption and makes engine starting difficult.
- Windscreen Wiper Motor Failure: Wiper blades stop moving, potentially causing visibility issues.
- Generator Failure: Prevents battery recharging, risking engine start failure.
- Engine Error: Limits vehicle speed to 7 km/h or prevents starting.
- Self-Starter Issues: Makes starting the engine difficult or impossible.
- Battery Failure: Causes difficulty or inability to start the engine.
- Service Interval Overdue: Vehicles exceeding set service intervals take damage.
